Form and Fabric - Making the piece

Over the Christmas holidays we have to create one of the pieces we designed for the Form and Fabric project....It's funny how I keep on changing my designs or ideas like for nearly everything but it is needed because it looks way better than what I was initially creating...That'll be fairly obvious in the pictures because we couldn't decide whether I should stick religiously to my designed piece or make it a bit more organic and go with it to actually compliment the female body shape.

Must get back to making this tomorrow or something...been busy with work and seeing some old friends :)

New Brief - mixing and matching time!!

The word I have been creating swatches for has been the word "twisting". Immediately when I saw it I thought plaits, braids and scoobies. So I've been twisting, swatching and designing and here are some of the mixing and matching pieces that I have come up with...
